Waitlist privacy notice

This notice explains how we handle your information when you join the waitlist for the English version of Stowlight. It supplements the Stowlight Privacy Policy (in Japanese), which is the governing version. If the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.

Who we are

Stowlight is provided by Argmax Co., Ltd. (株式会社アーグマックス), Tokyo, Japan. Contact: info@stowlight.com

What we collect

• Your email address.
• Your answer to “What would you use Stowlight for?” if you write one (optional, free text, up to 500 characters).
• Where you came from: the host name of the site that linked you here (for example, “news.example.com” — not the full address), and the utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign tags if the link you followed had them.
• The date and time you signed up.

We don’t store your IP address or browser information (user agent) with your sign-up.

Why we collect it

• To email you about the English version of Stowlight, such as its launch and pricing.
• To understand demand for an English version — for example, how many people signed up, where they found us, and what they want to use it for.

We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t sell it.

Where it is stored

Your sign-up is stored in a database run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which also hosts this site.

How long we keep it

We delete your sign-up after we send the announcement that the English version is available, or two years after you signed up — whichever comes first.

Deleting your sign-up

To have your sign-up deleted, email info@stowlight.com from the address you signed up with.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn’t use cookies, browser storage (such as localStorage), or third-party analytics, and it doesn’t load files from other companies. A small script on the waitlist page fills in the hidden “where you came from” fields described above. It doesn’t store anything in your browser, and the form works without it.

Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
